The Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network is the United States’ largest sexual violence prevention organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. It offers counseling, critical information and statistics and support for survivors.

Founded by actress and activist, Mariska Hargitay, the Joyful Heart Foundation aims to transform our nation’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse through providing counseling and support to survivors nationwide.


The National Sexual Violence Resource Center was founded by the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape. It’s mission is to initiate change in the global response to sexual violence through sharing relevant research and and providing 24-hour support to survivors.


Honey is a national organization that strives to provide support for sexual survivors through allied communities built both online and in-person.


Voices of Change was founded in 2018 by sexual assault survivors, Nicole Moehring and her daughter, Maci Elizabeth. Their mission is to encourage survivors to share their stories in hopes of generating conversations of change to put an end to sexual violence.

The Recovery Village Ridgefield: To cope with the pain of domestic and sexual abuse, some victims turn to the use of drugs and alcohol. Ridgefield’s mission is to be a supportive resource for those coping with these issues.

Nursing Home Abuse and Women: The New York State Elder Abuse Prevalence Study found that only 1 in 24 cases of abuse is reported. This facility focuses of offering support and raising awareness for the issue of elder abuse.

Sunshine Behavioral Health: Sunshine shares their Domestic Violence Resource Guide, containing valuable information such as hotlines to call and domestic violence statistics. It also shows the direct connection between Substance Abuse and Domestic Violence, which is important to understand when dealing with either issue.

A Guide to Domestic Violence and Getting Help: It is estimated that 47% of men and women in the United States are or will be victims of domestic violence in their lifetime. This guide provides information surrounding warning signs, additional statistics, how to get help, and other domestic violence resources.
